12/4/19
After breakfast and morning devotions given by Krister Sorensen’s the guys headed back to the well site and the ladies left for their second village of teaching and crafts withe the women.  It was great that Krister is finally feeling well enough to ride in the pickup truck on the bumpy roads.

The ladies had about 30 women today and yesterday 50 as they shared the love and security of Jesus with the village ladies.  After doing their crafts the ladies were invited into a home.  The village lady opened a couple of cans of peaches with a butcher knife and served them graciously to our team.

The guys worked shoulder to shoulder with the locals to get the well to the point of pumping water.  After a long day we finally were rewarded with seeing the locals smiles as they realized there was water.

As I said Krister is moving slow but improving after a visit to the local hospital for exam by orthopedic doctor for $15 and a shot of muscle relaxer.  Pray for continued strengthening also pray for Kelly as she has started not feeling well tonight.

We appreciate and covet the fact that we know you are there and HE is in charge; mike d.

  1. Wow, you hit water already...how encouraging! I know there is more work to be done to finish the job, so will be praying you end well (no pun intended)!

Praise God there has been such a large response from the women. I know you are planting seeds and God’s WORD will not return void. Have you worked with the village women yet, that will be receiving the six sewing machines?

Will continue to pray for Krister, that he gets more relief from the injection and that Kelly’s immune system is able to fight off whatever is causing her to feel sick. Praying all stay healthy. Sure hope Mike D. is not making you sleep on a church floor this time!

It is such a blessing to know each of you are representing Jesus for all of us at LBC. God IS being glorified!
    Much thanks,
    Jean Tarver
